Re Dorothea K. Williamson....I have been asked any number of times to
identify the irises that have appeared out of nowhere around ponds and
waterways in Maryland and Virginia....they have always been Dorothea K.
Williamson.  Do you not think this lends credence to Phil Ogilvie's theory of
"dabbling ducks"  spreading the Hexagonae species. I think it does.  Clarence
