Pacific Hyb. 2
OOOPS! Maybe it would helpful to know what species were used in these hyb. As
far as I know there are only 4 native Cal. Iris species. They are ;I
douglasiana, I innominata ,I munzii & I tanax. All grow where they can get
some cold. They can at least take -7 F. They might take even lower temps.
Most of them grow in the foothills and will take less water in the summer
.The flowers on the species range from 2down to 6".you check on individual
hyb. for height of flower. The hybs. Have the look of wild iris with a good
color range. In 10 min .I might think about something else. This could go on
all day.
