Re: bulbs, little spring iris


tom, clarence and others - here in the rots zone, my rich black gravelly loam
with high available water may be death to TB iris, but grows bulbs like
crazy.  if i plant deep and the golden retriever keeps the moles, voles, and
mice away, tulips slowly multiply bloom stalks each yr.  who knows what they
would do if i fertilized.  i have lost some of the wee iris bulbs, but
danford's iris did last a few yrs, and they were barely stuck in the ground.
will definitely try both types again.
