Chris: You'll get no hate mail from me - but the increase was well
publicized and word should have gotten to you through your RVP and/or
membership chair. I was riding the folks in THIS Region to buy ahead to
avoid the increase. You see, Chris, Marilyn Harlow - although not able to
stop the increase, was able to encourage people to "be creative" in renewing
as far out as possible in order to pay at the old price. I had one member in
MY region who bought 4 3-year memberships for herself ... @ $30/term, she's
got 12 years of membership at only $10 a year! It's unfortunate that you
weren't advised.... now, if this group had been going then, maybe your
irritation could have been avoided.
A BIG jump, to be sure!!!!!
