i am surprised that ORANGE SLICES didn't show up in the discussion of orange
varieities that survive the rot zone. it sulked its first year here, but
responded spectacularly to fertilizer. i dont like it too well - too much of
a bunny, and it was almost more pink than JOYFUL NEWS, but at least it grows.
also, i have seen either JOLT or VOLTAGE blooming in a garden here in e.
tenn. talk about orange! whew! But i dont know how well it does - have no
first hand experience. our local club meeting is next week and i will see if
i can find out which one it is and how it has done.
