OT-CHAT: Where's winter?

Season's greetings from Ottawa, Canada.
This has been a very unusual winter thus far. While Ottawa has not had the same
lifestyle as Calgary (shirtsleeves and golf; but they will get theirs soon
enough), it has been very mild with very little snowfall. We often have several
feet of snow to clear by Christmas; we have had several inches this year.
This is a concern to us - we rely on the white mulch more than we would like to
admit. We have several '00 introductions we are testing, but if we don't start
getting some z4 weather soon, the tests won't be worth much!
Other news: The old computer made it through January 1st. Now it has to make
it through February 29th.
