Linda and I are glad to hear that you are ok, but are very sorry to hear about
the damage to your daughter's home and the destruction by the tornado in
Owensboro. It is such a freak to have a tornado this time of year. And, isn't it
strange that after living in Kansas and Nebraska (part of tornado alley), you move
to Kentucky and experience a tornado?!
You mentioned that you have blooming iris stalks on your kitchen table.
That's probably a very unusual treat in Kentucky on Jan 4th, but would be nearly
an impossibility in Nebraska on this date. Here in Lincoln last night, the wind
chill was as low as 35 degrees below zero. brrrrrrrrr!!
