Having an iris hosted is an interesting idea but be prepared for the 
hosting nursery to take a sizeable commission, especially if they're 
raising the plants. A few additional questions to ask if you go this 
route... How many years will they give you a percentage?; Do they want an 
initial exclusive?; How long do they estimate it will take to increase the 
stock before they'll offer it?

Have you considered an ad in your regional newsletter? Costs are generally 
less than the Journal and if you haven't done much trialing, the risks are 
less that the plants might not behave as expected for those who buy since 
they'll most likely be from your area.
