RE Australian AIS Judges:

>> Barry Blyth has been added and Leslie Donnell has been dropped. To the
best of my knowledge, you are dropped when you forget to vote the ballot two
years running (100%), die (100%), or fail to keep up with the education
requirements (five hours/3 years including one judge's training course).

I believe that Les Donnell's death in 1999 may have contributed to his name
being removed.

>> Overseas judges are appointed by the Board of Directors when it accepts
the annual report of the Chairman of Judges. The chairman's role is to
endorse a letter of nomination submitted by an AIS judge outlining the
qualifications of the individual. The letter of recommendation itself must
be endorsed by a minimum of three additional accredited AIS judges.
Therefore, you need four AIS judges who think you qualify for sainthood, one
Chairman of Judges, and a quorum of the Board of Directors in order to
become an accredited AIS judge (overseas).<<

Thanks Sandy. I was aware of the procedure involved but I wasn't exactly
"up to date" with those who had achieved sainthood!

Many thanks,
