I found it fascinating, although I think there is a general tendency to find
such information excessive until one finds oneself in the midst of an
infestation, at which time the motivation is stronger to get on top of the
pest.
Most people realize that that typically a range of options exists for solving
insect problems and one need not use a chemical howitzer to take out a
chigger. Only by understanding the life cycle of the bug can one figure out
which means of addressing a problem is both most effective and least
destructive to other organisms and the environment. We have been needing some
good aphid information.
