Re: Re: Cult: seedling metamorphosis

From: Jeanne Holley <irisarian@yahoo.com>

Donald and Linda,

I only have a few seedlings at this time, but I
submitted a name for one at the same time I submitted
the name for Twilight's Last Gleaming. The following
year (third year of growth) the second seedling sent
up a stalk with a branch that elongated itself beyond
acceptable levels.

Dave Niswonger warned me (and guess who didn't listen)
to wait at least until after the third year of bloom
to register seedlings, because sometimes (not always)
they change drastically. Now I have a name that I
will have to transfer to another seedling eventually,
if I have one that is worthy of a name.
