This is the type of carrier I use. I have three of them each one holds
14 irises. So I can transport 42 irises at a time to the show and not have
to worry about them getting damaged on the way. My carriers are made with
3/4 inch pipe and then spray painted flat black with red and yellow flames.
I haven't put the flames on yet. I fasten the carriers in the back of my '79
GMC Jimmy with 3/4 inch pipe straps screwed to the floor. I just take my
cordless drill with me and remove the screws.
