I would not include an iris that blooms the same fall that it is planted in
your garden.
I believe that the bloom stalk was started before it came to you. In the
past, I have bought some "rebloomers" that did so, and never again rebloomed
for me. If they bloom the following spring and fall, then I would consider
it a rebloomer in my region.
If it bloomed for me only in the fall, I would include that info.,because if
others said the same thing about it, that might be something the society
should include in their
information. This is something that you won't know about for several years,
but some might like to grow it even if it only blooms in the fall in zone
whatever.
