Yes, but you don't see many 'tall' arilbreds offered. This was a
specialty of Tom Craig, but they aren't very aril looking. FRANCIS
CRAIG and MARY MCCLELLAN bloomed later. But, SATAN'S MISTRESS
is the first with any aril blood to bloom here. It could easily get
nipped back by late freezes.
TERRY ANN also blooms later.
These later blooming ones don't seem to be affected by the
roller coaster cycle. I haven't noticed it here.
Most of the award winners lately in the quarterbred department
are like IB's and are a little later to bloom than the 1/2 and 3/4
arilbreds, at least here. The quarterbreds that I have produced
bloom after those with higher aril blood.
