Same here, and a really good torrential downpour, about 1/2 hour ago, which
lasted for 1/4hour. It is really steamy - unusually so for here. We have hot
dry, and usually windy, summers. This is the most humid I can remember for
about 8 years. It is nice not having those bushfire winds though.
I have been worrying about the irises rotting, but they have been very well
behaved, including my AB's. I think the shade cloth is helping, and the
extra handful of grit I put in each pot for my AB rz's.

>MY SIGNA SEEDS ARRIVED TODAY!!!!
Mine yesterday. I am absolutely delighted with them. I got my BIS seeds last
week. I have already broken my resolve not to plant until we shift. I have
several packets soaked and in the freezer with their labels.
I was most impressed with the packaging and labeling of the seeds. Well done
Marty and Jan!
My packet had been opened and had a label stuck to it, saying "Inspected and
Approved by Australian customs dept."
That satisfied my curiosity re seeds being mailed into Australia. I shall
stick to my policy of always being honest and having people label the
envelope clearly!
Cheers, Jan clark, Aus.
