Oh, Plicataman, where art thou? Only one tall plicata introduction
in the new catalog, DRAMA QUEEN, unless you add the lone
luminata? We're used to those bold departures from the ordinary
when it comes to plicatas and luminatas and not pastels with dark
tops! Perhaps, the beards on these create a little interest for the
ones coming out now, but FOGBOUND and SUSPICION got lost in
my garden next to those bold and beautiful plics, or even the
Keppel blacks. This line of 'pastel dark tops' just doesn't grab me.
To each his own. We all have our preferences! Maybe next year
my druthers will show up again. Enjoy.
