Hi Donna,

When we get to the Midseason-Late to Late season in the Phoenix area,
depending on the weather that year, it usually gets quite hot here by then.
Earlier blooming varieties seem to do better for the most part.

And as it goes, many of the beautiful irises out there that I would love to
grow are midseason-late to late blooming varieties.  It is probably better
for my pocketbook that way.
