Re: Subject: AIS: Bulletin - Flight Lines

If I were to propose a motion to the AIS board now, it would be that:
there be a monthly posting to the lists asking that an email (one-time,
and revocable) be sent to the compiler allowing permission to publish
for all postings, or denying such permision for any posting. Lacking
such global direction, the compiler must ask permission on a
case-by-case basis.

Also, there is much technical information which comes from this group
that deserves as wide an audience as possible. Easing flow from here
into the Bulletin is desirable.

Gerry, far two intellexual too ever split an infinitive

Gerry: I for one have no problem seeing my contributions reprinted; assuming
anyone wishes to be blessed with my opinions. I did attempt to "tickle" the
editor once, however, when I was badly misquoted on an iris description; I
would rather destroy my own credibility than let someone else do it for me.
You are right, there is a lot of valuable "anecdotal" experience on iris-talk,
which in some cases may be more reliable than commonly accepted "knowledge".
