Take Flight!

Please, everybody, let's stop beating the dead h orse. Everyone h as had a
chance to give an opiniion and that has been noted, and there were many good
ones, but reiteration is not essential. I'd like to find something else on
this monster-computer-screen! Everyone agrees, I am sure that Bruce is doing
a magnificent job as Editor - especially those who have been an editor even
in a minor way! (When I was Editor of the RIR, I did it on a typewriter and
then a mimeograph, collating by making rounds of my diningroom table -
without benefit of labels from AIS!) And RIR had Flight Lines even back then
in the dark ages, only they were called something else -- and there were no
squabbles about them.

I know this is the season of doldrums for those of us who have to shovel
snow, and sit back and gnash our teeth with jealousy of Gerry doing his
planting! But dream with your wish-books of catalogs and be happy having a
good Editor like Bruce and let him do his job. My only advice to him, is
keep in mind the old saying that you can't please everybody - if you try, you
please no one. Now it is pushing 2 a..m. and time for bed! Rosalie nr
