Now I'm going to ask what is probably a real neophyte question.   What is
the R & I?

Thanks Jean for the description of Royal Tara.  I like the heat and drought
tolerant part, plenty of both in central NM.  If I see it listed for sale,
I'll probably get one now.  I don't think I have any cream colored Iris,
though I have a few pale yellows that are sometimes said to be cream.  Of
course descriptions are a bit off sometimes.  I have a near red that is
officially described as a "blue blend" (if I remember correctly).  Yet
everyone sells the near red under that name (can't think which one it is
off hand).  I've always wondered if there was a switch made sometime, and
the plant for sale is not the one registered.  Now I'm really changing the
subject, so I'll stop for the moment.
