Here we have several old favorites that grow like weeds, bloom heavily AND
show well. I won't keep an iris "just because", they have to earn a place
in our garden.
Amigo, Williamson 1934. This one grows like a weed, blooms heavily every
year and is a good candidate for a blue ribbon at the show.
Honorabile - Lemon 1840 Another iris that grows the way we would like all
of them to grow. I have won a section awards at the shows with this iris
several times and have had enough of it to show in collections.
Demi-Deuil - Denis 1912 - If pretty is as pretty does then this little iris
is very pretty indeed!! One of those iris you can share with all your
friends and family and still have some leftover.
Eleanor Roosevelt - Sass 1933 This iris is a reliable bloomer and grower
and it reblooms...every year.
