Re:HYB: blue plicata (was predictions)

Betty, do you mean a blue ground plicata?  That would be lovely!

<I've got a couple of plicata seedlings that lean toward the blue side
and
                   they have blue beards.  A new love!  One even bloomed
in the summer 2003.  New
                   passions to discover. Interesting (only to me?) that
I made those crosses
                   because I had iris bloom and nothing else to cross.
If I didn't have this incurable
                   disease, I would not have made ANY plicata crosses
other than the red on
                   yellow ones.  Now, I'm making them because I want to,
rather than because I have
