HY:TB:Blue Beards
Is it easy to lose the blue beards? Several years ago, I crossed IMMORTALITY
to some blue bearded whites (pale blue). Then I crossed these seedlings with
each other. The resulting cross contained IMMORTALITY (2), BEAU ZAM, PLEDGE
ALLEGIANCE. Of these, one is a great rebloomer, and a couple more rebloom
some. BUT there were no blue beards in any of the seedlings. (1st OR 2nd
generation) They have yellow beards.
I've crossed these further but haven't seen bloom yet. Back to blue beards.
Have I lost my blue beards? Or can I expect them to come back in these
generations?
