Hi all,

Was quite surprised today, went to our teensy front
yard, and saw a flash of purple -- My hands are
disabled and the weeds in the front are awesome,
this year has been my worst in terms of "are there
iris in there below those weeds?"  Anyhow, so I
go and peek in the lush weed foliage, and there are
TWO lovely blooms, faintly fragrant, of SUSA!

So, you might say SUSA is lurking in my garden!  :)

Such a nice purple, and I love the pale blue beards.
This is the first time I've seen this bloom in person.

SUSA is supposed to be early, but this seems a bit
WAY early.  Still, this is the first time she's
bloomed
for me.

When housemates get home I'm going out there with
a flashlight to show them!
