I apologize Mike - I should have said Region 7 (Tennesee, Kentucky,
especially zone 7 parts of Kentucky) and south.  & probably should have
said continental.  I can't remember how well their irises do along the
east coast in zone 7 and 8 where they usually don't have the same kinds
of extremes in temperature cycles thru the winter.

I got an offlist note reminding me that ROMANTIC EVENING (Ghio) does
well here.
