Re: OT: Breathing New Life Into An Old Club

As a President of an iris society that was formed more than forty years ago, I am tired of trying all sorts of ideas to get members to attend meetings.  The best attendance we have had in the last three years was for our club-paid Christmas dinner in December at which ten members and one guest were present.  Every project we try ends with my husband and I doing all the work.  We are lucky to get the necessary five members to enter our iris shows.
