I've lurked on this list for years, but seldom post. Have never been a member of AIS, so have no ax to grind either way. I must say, though, from an outsider's view, that the AIS folks seem to have pretty thin skins... ;-)

A little less defensiveness would engender a more palatable impression to outsiders, methinks...

Bill Wells (who's so far back in the woods of southern MO that it would take hours to drive to the nearest initial, anyway!)
