I'm positive someone said they had a seedling.... Not spider, but one they thought might have potential that way...
Look in the archives under hang-dog, or droopy or some phrase like that. I know it was included in another discussion similar to this one. I think there might have been some talk about horizontal falls in the same thread...

For some reason, that makes me think of the shade iris - sorry, can't
think of the species at the moment. The one with the brightly colored
seeds.
