Re: OT_chat weather
It is unbelievably dry where we are wintering in Texas. The grapefruit were
left on the tree as they are the size of small oranges & very sour. The
leaves on the trees are curling & most others are all gone. Grass is brown & the
ground dirt is very dusty. I assume they have a watering ban on lawns etc.
Corpus Christi lake where we are, is way down low. In fact the cove we look
out on from our travel trailer is now green with vegetation instead of water.
You can walk across the cove in about ankle deep water elsewhere. Oklahoma is
so dry also with many fires burning. We traveled thru there on Dec 31. I
would love to see these folks get a MUCH needed rain.
