Betty, could you elaborate? As a newbie, I have no idea what you
mean. Do you mean you look for a cross that produces mostly good
seedlings as part of future planning? Or ...
I'm only getting a few seedlings (less than 10) to bloom size from most
of my crosses (i.e., 40 seeds x 40% germination (to be generous!) x 50%
survival = 8 seedlings). What part of the 'broader view' am I missing?
<In the past, I looked at seedlings for individual qualities. Now, my
view is broader. Betty>
