HYB:Bud count

While checking old records for Linda, I ran into this interesting set of  
notes.

Bridge In Time
Cross made May 1988
 
May 1991=6 buds each  (6 stalks)
Spring 1992=7 buds on all
Spring 1993=up to 12 buds (I remember this year well...about a 15 foot  row)  
 
I post this to people that worry about low bud count on new  seedlings.  If 
you really like the iris and it has other good qualities,  hang in there.  The 
bud count might improve.
