Mary, we still have English boxes in Dallas, but I have never seen seedlings in any. Ours have to have the names of the iris under each one, so I assume they are for named varieties only.

Subject: [iris] SHOW: English Boxes
It's been over 5 years since English Boxes were discussed here.
Any of you still using them in your shows? Any helpful advice?
I'm thinking it would be a good way to show hybridizing results
without sacrificing whole stalks. Also reloomers, which are mostly
done here by show time.
