Re: pink vs. orange


Well, I'll clarify what I was saying as it seems I was only partially correct according to Chuck.  I had said that pink was recessive to orange which was recessive to yellow and that was based on my reading of "Breeding Red Irises: The Carotenoids"
(shall I say thee book to read per AIS).  However, Chuck adds that there is a recessive yellow pigment as well and no actual orange pigment which was not discussed in the book to my recollection.  So all brand new info to me.
