Orange irises don't grow well here. I do have a seedling from 'Good Show' X 'Summer Radiance' that should bloom this spring. Sole survivor. (I get a lot of sole survivors in the orange class) I don't really know where apricot falls on the color list. I've grown about half of the things shown in Cordoba heritage, but not the rest. Guess there is room for anthocynan in there. I'll see if I have a photo of any of the siblings.
While at Alvaton, I bloomed seedlings from HOM X Fringe Benefits. One put up a fall stalk and memory tells me it was orange. At least I thought it was orange at the time. Late 80's or early 90's.

Idon't believe there was any additional information in the post. <<'Cordoba' X 'Summer Radiance' gave all orange. (planted 15 or so) SRis out of 'Hindenburg' X 'Lemon Reflection' so it would be one halforange--genetically.>> (slight modification to post) (Another 3 tobloom this spring.)I've made several crosses with 'Summer Radiance' which is 'LemonReflection X Hindenburg.' Other crosses include 'Pure As Gold' &'Sunblaze.' They all produced the same color as SR with one copperseedling from 'Sunblaze.'Betty WilkersonZone 6 KYautmirislvr@aol.com---------------------------------------------------- -----------------To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with themessage text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
