I harvest the seeds just as the pod starts to split, put them in a plastic baggie, then put them in the fridge. There's enough moisture in the fresh seeds to last quite awhile, but if they started to dry out, I added a tiny bit of moisture, just enough to moisten the seeds, not leave any water 'loose' in the bag.
