Thanks Bob.I want something simpler - just an alphabetical list of hybridizer in one column, city and state in another, & country in another.
Guess I will can start pecking around to make an excel file for quick reference for the ones I keep forgetting.
Trouble with using the (very wonderful!) wiki is that I have to remember the name of the person I'm trying to find ;-)
Today was the first time I've worked the wiki hard and was thinking how grateful I am that you have made this happen, Bob.
I was rummaging through a list of irises that I may try to order this year, & a picture is worth many thousands of words re: form and general impression the color & pattern make, plus having the ancestry linked to the main entry makes a quick reminder of who's in what much simpler than e-register.
I still prefer e-register for most general pedigree rummaging, but <very> appreciative of the iris wiki. Biggest bonus? by searching via google using iris twiki plus name, I don't have to be able to spell the name correctly ;-) Thank you google. ;-)
