Graham,

Both STRIPED JADE and BOLD STRIPES were hybridized by John Weiler of
Fresno , CA. STRIPED JADE was introduced in 1984 and is a lovely mid
yellow flower of modern form. The foilage is mostly consistant with the
variegation. A small percentage of fans revert to all green. BOLD
STRIPES was introduced in 1992. I do not grow this, but the R&I says it
is lightly ruffled pale yellow, variegated green and ivory foilage.

STRIPED BRITCHES is an older iris hybridized by Ruby Short of New Mexico
and introduced in 1981. Although I have grown it for two years it has
never bloomed. Taking time to adjust I would think. The R&I says it is
a white self with variegated foilage. I can vouch for the foilage.

ZEBRA BLUSH of course was hybridized by one of our new subscribers Brad
Kasparek. Brad, are you there? Brad! Anyway I just got this last
year. Not only is the foilage variegated but this one has a purple base
also. According to the R&I the flower is a bicolor with pale yellow
standards and light rose-purple falls.
