Freezing Seeds

I have been following the emails on freezing seeds, quite
interesting, I do have a few TB seeds outside in pots, submerged to the pot
rim, day time temperatures from 2- 8 minus celsius, just now 4-
Night temperatures to 11 minus celsius, but no wind.
I came to think about a freezer to be effected has to be 18 minus, which is
the safe temperature for food, mine is down to 20-22.
I was thinking that the difference between the day and night with the seeds
out side may make a difference.
( Have Sharons Enhanced germination in mind)
One chap on the list freezes his seeds to 40 f minus which I believe to be
4,44 Celsius.
In a fridge the best temp is from O to 8 plus celsius, that is for normal
eatable food.
It would be helpful, at least to me, if when writing about freezing seeds,
at what temperature they are frozen at.
