I also try to "turn over" my iris collection, thinking, as a judge, I should
always be trying to evaluate new/different stuff. And it can't all stay.
There are things I 've taken out that I wish I hadn't now! How could I have
tossed AZURE APOGEE, for instance, a wonderful garden iris, for some of the
things I have now that have sulked out there without a bloom for two or three
years! Anyway, as Mike notes--irises may be eliminated from the garden for
various reasons.
