The "d" and "s" in the "usda" portion of this url are transposed. It should be

http://trident.ftc.nrcs.usda.gov//plants/plntmenu.html

I was probably the last to figure this out.  I tried several times at 5:30
a.m. EST this morning and didn't realize why it wasn't working. To compound
things my keyboard also died this morning and I couldn't try any different
URL's . I'm working off a borrowed keyboard now.:)   Thanks for pointing us
to this interesting web site.
