LINDA: I never had ESTHER THE QUEEN. SORRY, WISH I HAD HAD IT. I tried many
of Henry Danielson's things, and had moderate success in highly raised beds
with sand incorporated. Much depends on the climate for a particular year.
Sometimes we have drought in VA and NC in the summer, and the arilbreds do
well. But given a rainy year, the struggle is severe! AT present I have very
few. I liked ONLOOKER very much, but it gave up the struggle after three
years. My present plan is to breed arilbreds to remontants, in order to cut
down the need for a summer resting period. Sharon McAllister has sent me
pollen toward this end. Lloyd Z. Durham NC
