Welcome, Adrienne, to iris-L. In zone 4b you have a long while yet
to be green with envy. Just wait: it gets worse in spring in fall
when those farther south are talking about this or that beginning to
bloom (or rebloom, depending on whether it's spring or fall) and you
still (or by now) have temps regularly below freezing. :-) Still,
it's great fun, very informative, and a doldrums-chaser right now,
when the temp. got up to zero yesterday and we all cheered! I'm in
the same zone as you. One thing: you didn't identify your location
as to state and town. It would be nice to know. Again, welcome!
