Hello all,
Paul Black told me the other day that his spuria seedlings always take
an extra year to germinate. Is this one of those species that has to
have a cold spell followed by a warm spell followed by another cold
spell before it will germinate? Or is it because we are in zone 7?
By the way, we are very proud of Paul here in Region 22. In 1996, his
CINNAMON APPLES won the Caparne-Welch Medal (MDB) and his PUMPIN' IRON
won the Cook-Douglas Medal (SDB). Wow! These are both great medians.
I can tell you that we can expect more of this high quality in the
future.
