All the criticism of this Walther Cup winner makes me wonder how it got all
those HM votes. My guess is that many judges saw it only as a first year
plant, before it had a chance to misbehave. This brings up again what I
consider to be the major flaw in the ais awards system: We don't allow
enough time for evaluation and distribution before we vote. I don't think 4
or 5 years after introduction would be inappropriate for gaining eligibility
for an HM.
