Weather

Spent all day outside today. Most of it spent pulling old labels and
watering a little. It was in the mid 60's and most of the snow is
gone. I inspected several iris beds while I pulled the labels to be
redone and they are looking pretty good. I am seeing lots of little
"puppies" breaking ground on the back sides of the rhizomes and over
half of the iris still have some green leaves. I hope that they
continue at this pace. We (and about half the country) are due for a
good spring. I'm not sure what I would do if I didn't have drought,
wind, late freezes or 90 temps in March to complain about as I did last
year!  (-;
