Ian,
I had this happen to me a few years ago with PCN seeds. My experience
is that they will all go. What I have tried recently and with much
success is to grow them in sterlized potting soil and use an acid
fertilizer such as Azaela/Camelia food. Be careful when "potting up"
as they do not like their roots disturbed. Try to move the entire
rootball.
