Graham: You evoked a response; here it is. I have always been a professional
musician. Growing seedlings is my great passion in the iris game. I had my
own catalogue because no one wanted to introduce my iris. I always grew on a
small scale, without heavy equiment. Most years I declared a loss on my
income tax. But my introductions did get before the public, in however small
a way. It was a long time before reblooming iris were considered desirable or
respectable; this decade has seen a wonderful step forward for them. Lloyd
Zurbrigg Durham NC Zone 7.5 (I started in Canada in Zone 4).
