I hope she finds a job soon. I do not know what it's like in the US, but here
there are lots of jobs available - provided you either don't mind sweeping
the streets or cleaning public toilets, or you have to have four hundred
years' experience!
BTW - will your wife bake an iris-L birthday cake?
