Hi Lynn!
On their website Crayola claims that they have only ever renamed two of
their colors: Flesh became Peach in the interest of diversity and Prussian
Blue morphed to Midnight Blue to accomodate the lack of historical depth
among American youth. It seems quite clear from the presentation on the
website that when a color is "retired' it is gone, not renamed.
