Happy New Year all!
I finally made it back from th east coast. Glad, I am, to be back in
this neck of the woods. Even though we don't get much of a vacation from
tending our irises, it does have its advantages though, and I am glad to
say I have my first blooms of '98. HI, GLEE CLUB, ECUME, BOTTLED
SUNSHINE, MARIPOSA SKIES (thank you Rick), ERECT, FAIR MAIDEN, and TWICE
TOLD have, or are about to, bloom. I do have some leaf spot to deal
with, but that is manageable as soon as I get a couple of dry days.
It is starting out to be a great year.
